Verizon is Now Offering Student Discounts on Unlimited Plans

Verizon is now offering a student discount for college students, giving both new and existing Verizon customers in an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate degree program $10-25 off of their monthly bill.

The announcement was made as the company’s four week commencement series came to an end this week.

The discount goes into effect on July 2 and offers $10 off per month on a single line plan or $25 off per month for two lines. Along with money off of their monthly bill, students will also qualify for a free year of Disney+ and free Apple Music for those subscribed to the Play More or Get More Unlimited plans.

“The last couple of months have been challenging for students, and being able to stay connected is crucial for their education. At Verizon we are committed to supporting student learning at all stages and we are proud to extend our support to college and graduate students as they prepare for success,” said Frank Boulben, SVP consumer marketing and products at Verizon. “This offer will give college students access to our best pricing on the nation’s most reliable network.”

To qualify, the student must be the account owner or manager. Only one discount can be applied on an account. The deal can stay in effect for up to four years, if the student can provide proof that they’re still enrolled in their program. Visit the Verizon website to browse qualifying unlimited plans.
