Peacock has announced a new sports documentary in development about former quarterback Joe Montana. The documentary will be a multipart series and showcase Montana’s life from the early days as an All American in high school to National Champion at Notre Dame and going on to win the Super Bowl four times and being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
The series is being produced by NFL Films and will feature Montana’s first-hand accounts, as well as insights from former teammates, coaches, and mentees who share their perspectives on “Joe Cool.”
This title will join Peacock’s growing library of documentaries and sports documentaries available on the platform. Earlier we reported on three new documentaries heading to the platform. Diamond Princess, Perfect World: The Gamer Murders, and Downey Wrote That (all working titles) next up on the docket.
