Many brands across the web doing such silly mistakes like adding the URL inside the description box. I don’t know who’s managing their social media strategy.
The link that you have posted in the description box is redundant and should be removed immediately. Instead, You need to add something catchy so that more people show interest to your site. The bare link should never take up the place of a proper description.
4. Not Updating Time by Time
Now-a -days most of the companies often make the mistake of thinking that a proper cover photo, killer image, and good details in the “About Me” section is all we need to keep things going but we don’t realize that this habit should be changed immediately. Not updating regularly is a missed opportunity to scale up the results.
In other words, you must always update the page, get a proper cover photo, use good images, and share them online. This way, people will know your brand is constantly evolving.
The core idea behind this is to modify few things in your profile and always keep an eagle’s eye with the analyzing caps on.
This will help you understand your audience better and you will come to know what your followers like and don’t like.
5. Not Analyzing The Results
Analyzing will help you optimize and improve your existing campaigns and you’ll get useful creative ideas to further your social media marketing strategy.
To get more optimized results, every business should always analyze their social media marketing efforts. It doesn’t matter if the results are positive or negative.
But always remember that it is not about getting more followers, likes, and comments. What matters more is that you check, analyze, and understand the performance. This is crucial for a proper marketing campaign.
You can be leading the account every month, but if the effort doesn’t convert into the lead generation, then you probably need to change your social media marketing strategy.
